My name is Mithila Mangedarage and I am a science student from Colombo,Sri Lanka.Since I was a kid,I’ve had a massive musical influence plus a passion to write.Metal Cracker is the final result of what you may want to call a “perfect combination”.To be honest,metal and writing both have a lot to be explored away from the monitor,but let’s put it this way,I have a passion for blogging too.

My interest in metal started sometime back as an 8th Grader,since then I’ve explored pretty much every sub-genre within this amazing form of music.I also relate to non-metal music forms like Classical,Dark Classical,Baroque and Opera.

If you have read the About M.C page,you may have realised that the Metal Cracker never followed the easy way.Readers’ comments back when Metal Cracker was a free wordpress blog were everything but encouraging.While a few commented postively,many gave me negative feedback.Some wannabe musician(do they deserve to be called a musician?I am not very sure) who fancies themselves a poet(once again,do they deserve to be called a poet?I am not sure) instructed me to study what I preach.To avoid similar comments in the future,though I hate to,I have to state that I am academically qualified to write about the music I love.
