The best word to describe Apocalyptica is unique.Don’t agree?Well,how many “Cello Metal” bands do you know?To be honest with you,if it was not for Apocalyptica I’d laugh my ass off if someone told me they play in a Cello Metal band.But seriously,these guys took me by storm,took my mates by storm and took the whole metal scene by storm.Their debut 1996 album “Plays Metallica with four cellos” sold more than one million copies worldwide.How’s that for a Cello Metal band,eh?
Apocalyptica’s much anticipated second album, “Worlds Collide” was released in Europe in a “Standard” and a “Deluxe” format.The deluxe format contains bonus tracks “Ural” and “Dreamer” and a DVD featuring “I am not Jesus” video,making of “I am not Jesus” and an exclusive interview from the listening session and photo gallery.The album entered Finnish charts at No:8.The much anticipated album will be released in the U.S on 15,April this year.
Apocalyptica have released a myspace supported promotional widget you can display on your profile.You can also display it on your blog or site.The widget features the video for Apocalyptica’s hit song “I am not Jesus”.It also displays the audio version and 3 photos.
