Freddie Mercury of Queen was voted the best male rock vocalist of all time by fans from over 40 countries in a poll for 4 months.Steve Perry of Journey was voted second.

Unfortunately though Jon Bon Jovi was voted 3rd.See,here’s why it’s unfortunate.

(a)Bon Jovi is almost playing country now.I don’t have anything against bands making bucks out of what they love to do.But I hate major genre switch overs.This poll said “all time”.He did an amazing job in the 80’s with stuff like “Slippery when wet”.But “Have a nice day” is not a GLAM metal record,seriously!

(b)Say Bon Jovi still played GLAM.He doesn’t deserve it over Robert Plant does he?Bon Jovi over Zeppelin?Hell no!(Robert Plant was voted 4th while Steven Tyler(Aerosmith) was voted 5th).

Adding more to misfortune of  Rock ‘n’ Roll the following were eliminated from the poll.

Bruce Dickinson-Iron Maiden.(Can you believe it?Out of all Dickinson?You rule Bruce,we know that,you know that!)

Bon Scott-AC/DC.

Paul Stanley-KISS.

Mick Jagger-Rolling Stones.

Axl Rose-Guns ‘n’ Roses.

Well,we know that Bruce,Axl,Scott and ‘em deserve a hell of lot more than that.So the Metal Cracker has decide to run a poll of its own,not to make mockery of you forcing you to pick between Bruce and Scott,but to decide whether Jon Bon Jovi deserves his spot?
