‘I’m So Not Into The Whole BLABBERMOUTH Bullshit’-Alexi Laiho
Before anything-this man is a genius so let’s keep the discussion at a diplomatic and intelligent level. No fucking “pretty blonde boy” bullshit comments about this man please!
Ok-here goes-According to….um….BLABBERMOUTH-UK’s Zero Tolerance magazine featured an interview with Alexi Laiho from “EAT-A-COCK-IF-YOU-DON’T-KNOW-THE-BAND” in its March/April 2008 issue.Here’s a quick excerpt-
“First, we’ve been doing this shit since we were 13 and 14, and didn’t get anything even released until after five years of practicing. We did well enough on that first album to make a second, and well enough on the second to make a third, and so on. I’m not going to intentionally make bad music so that people can feel better about themselves. . . I’m so not into the whole Blabbermouth bullshit, either. I barely go to our own homepage anymore. I have more important things to do than worry about the three guys online hugging each other, trying to decide if I’m ‘metal enough’ or not.”
Worship this man friends,wor-fucking-ship this man!Someone had to say this at some point,despite the fact that one really has to havev a lot of balls to talk shit about the Internet cuz usually it gets your ass into trouble-does anyone remember Lars Ulrich and Napster?

(a) Laiho is 318 times better than the guitarist in your shitty,underground,unsigned,broke band!
(b) While you were writing shit on bands on walls of websites-he went to the studio,jammed his arse out,wrote another record and toured the world.

Ok-well maybe Laiho is going a bit extreme when you take it at a larger scale because there are superb bands that made it big on myspace alone,and Internet can be and is being used intelligently by a lot of bands,who are already tearing themselves up working hard to get their shit pushed forward.But then again it comes back to where we started-people are ripping their asses to get their stuff promoted when some fucktard comes and writes shit about you and you are done.

Blabbermouth is one of the landfills of the internet. Shovel fulls of shit everywhere you look…
Music is purely emotion, sometimes the music gives you a good feeling you like it, YAY! Sometimes it rubs you the wrong way, so move on, don’t rag a band for doing what they love, and especially for not sitting on the same style for 5 albums.
Though with that being said I do shit sling the Emo/Screamo and Pop scenes quite a bit, but that is because they think about almighty dollar before anything else (though certain individuals are exceptions to this). And said ’scenes’ are helping fuck the next generation up as well, Pop is pushing sex, Rap is pushing violence, Emos are pushing depression, etc. Military is reaping the rewards of a mold-able generation of idiots for cannon fodder…
God, can’t wait ’til things get reset, then music will be easier to find and no more commercialized bullshit. Musicians of all styles getting to play whenever/wherever/for whoever for the love of music.
