“This is not Velvet Revolver’s last tour”-Slash
Velvet Revovler has been in the highlight lately as rumours both in print and html suggested they were about to split up.During their Glasgow show ,Scot Weiland(Ex:Stone Temple Pilots) claimed that the fans were witnessing “the last tour by Velvet Revolver”.
Slash(Ex:Guns ‘n’ Roses/Slash’s Snakepit),speaking to BBC Radio1 said “Let’s put it this way,this is not Velvet Revolver’s last tour”.
Still,I believe that’s a very smelly statement. It is not revealed if Slash emphasized on “last” but what’s revealed is Slash didn’t “seem comfortable discussing” it. Read more about the interview here.
Slash also commented about the recent rumours about Velvet Revolver opening for Led Zeppelin.“There’s been a huge rumour going around about us opening for them and I think that was something that was taken out of context” said Slash.
My personal belief is it’ll only be a matter of time and we won’t have to wait too long to see whether Velvet Revolver is a done deal or should I rather say whether “Weiland stays or leaves”?
